Civil / Structural / Architecture

The Civil/Structural department undertakes the planning and execution of building projects for industrial plants. It has a permanent staff of 25 involving experts from all areas of construction.    

This department emerged from Pörner + Partner Ziviltechniker GmbH founded in 1987. Since then it had worked in office partnership with the Pörner Group and finally merged with it in 2012. Civil design and quality assurance are done internally by Pörner ZT GmbH with the authority for civil /structural engineering and architecture.

The civil/structural part of all plant engineering projects – whether it concerns new plants or refurbishments -  of the Pörner Group is undertaken by the C/S/A department.     

The  range of services provided includes:

• Conceptual design, basic design, submission

• Structural design

• Basic  and detail engineering

• Bill of quantities, tendering, bid comparison, contract award assistance

• Engineering and commercial management

• Project management or supporting control

• Site supervision

• Planning and site coordination in accordance with the BauKG [Austrian Construction Work Coordination Act]

• Building physics: energy pass/building services

• Test engineer services and notification of completion    

In addition the experienced engineers execute projects in   

• Community building construction (museums, hospitals)

• Housing and building construction  

• Infrastructural facilities (petrol stations, radio masts)

The great number of references from over 25 years in civil engineering are evidence of the engineers‘ performance capabilities.
