Collision check before lifting the new reactor at the OMV in Burghausen

There is an ongoing trend in plant engineering and construction towards reducing project lead times with increasingly stringent  quality requirements, and towards cost awareness.
 

The Pörner Group meets these challenges by employing advanced and efficient software tools. In addition to well-known systems, such as the CAD programs Comos PT and SmartPlant P&ID for diagrams linked to databases  or 3D planning tools, such as PDMS, PDS and SmartPlant 3D, we are also working on proprietary systems. 
 

When it comes to stocktaking in revamps, for example, laser scanning is the superior method in terms of time and cost. A case in point is the revamp of the HDS plant of OMV in Burghausen where based on these data a final collision check was made before the new reactor was lifted.
 

Based on this breadth of experience a multitude of customer requirements can be met.
