Pörner Group: Gazintek receives revamp-contract for a gas dehydration unit

The Ukrainian Gazintek was entrusted with the engineering assistance for the revamp of a Gas Dehydration Unit (GDU) in Russia.

The in Kiev located Gazintek, a 100% subsidiary of the Austrian Pörner Group, is a well specialized engineering company in the oil and gas sector. Many project for international clients especially in the gas industry have been successfully completed during the recent years.

To such a project also counts the skids-mounted Gas Sweetening Unit / Sulphur Recovery Unit (GSU/SRU) at a field located in the North-West of Russia. The engineers of Gazintek provided in 2010 – 2011 for a French client the detail engineering of the units. Due to the fact, that the site is about 60 km inside of the Arctic Circle, special technical solutions had to be found.

New order

Gazintek is delighted that the efforts resulted in a new order. In August 2013 Gazintek was entrusted with the engineering assistance for the revamp of a Gas Dehydration Unit (GDU) at the same site. With this aim, two engineers of Gazintek were on site and performed a site survey at the beginning of July.

The project is supposed to be completed in 2013.
